Employability of Women and Persons with Disability

As per research, about 90% graduates in India are unemployable upon graduation and only 21.2% of India’s labor force is skilled. Despite being a growing economy, women and Persons with Disability, are still severely underrepresented in various positions within the industry. Landmark group is focused to provide skill development training for Youth from economically disadvantaged families, including Persons with Disabilities and women and facilitate employment opportunities to support income generation. This project would benefit over 1375 PwD's and women.

Apprenticeship Program

With an aim to promote Employability Skills and Education among the youth, Landmark group has implemented the Apprenticeship Program under Government of India’s National Employability Enhancement Mission (NEEM). The apprenticeship program offers industry exposure and training along with the opportunity to pursue higher education. The program contributes to employability in the retail sector.

Over 768 NEEM trainees were placed in 117 stores of Max, Easybuy, Home Centre and Lifestyle across India.




Be Healthy

BE HEALTHY is a behavioral change initiative for primary class students conducted by Landmark group volunteers. We aimed to inculcate healthy habits like handwashing, brushing, waking up early. Done over 2 months, we covered 688+ students in 2 government schools at Bengaluru. Over 40% of the students shared they inculcated one or more new habits after this program, while most others started following the habits more regularly.




Eco Champs

ECO CHAMPS is an environmental program for secondary class students’ partnership with BHUMI. Through the course of this program, schools are also transformed into eco-friendly zones by equipping them with apt set-ups such as a nutritional garden, compost bins and waste segregation bins to ensure children can practice what they learn right in their school.

568+ students from Government schools were trained on this program.




Past Programs :


As per the World Bank’s findings; India ranks highest amidst the rest of the world with regards to children suffering from Malnutrition. The prevalence of underweight children in India is among the highest in the world. With a view of enhancing enrollment, retention, attendance and simultaneous improvement in the nutritional levels of children, the National Programme of Nutritional Support to Primary Education (NP-NSPE) has been launched by the Government of India. For successful implementation of this scheme, many non for profit organizations have been involved by the Government.

The Akshaya Patra Foundation is one such pioneering organization involved in providing Mid-Day meals to Children across several Indian states.

The ‘Eat Healthy’ program supports The Akshaya Patra Foundation in providing mid day meals to unserved Government Schools across Karnataka, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh through gap funding.

Landmark Group has supported mid-day meals for 45,000 Government School children since 2015 in these states throughout an academic year.




We are supporting 300 out-of-school girls by providing quality Primary Education through a partnership with IIMPACT. These program are implemented in the Vikas Nagar and Sahaspur region of Dehradun District in the state of Uttarakhand in India. The learning centers in this program compliments existing formal Government schooling pedagogy by preparing out-of-school girls at the primary stages (from class I to class V) and ensure their continued learning.





We support sustainable livelihoods generation for 229 Persons with Disabilities (PWD) to promote inclusive growth in retail sector. This program is conducted by under the aegis of its unique initiative by TRRAIN Foundation.
